• Management, working in cooperation with the Joint Health and Safety Committee, will strive to take all reasonable steps to reduce workplace hazards to as low as reasonably achievable.
• Supervisors and managers are held accountable for the health and safety of all employees under their supervision. This includes responsibility for applicable training and instruction, appropriate follow up on reported health and safety concerns, and implementation of recommended corrective action. This accountability is integrated into the performance appraisal system. Supervisors, workers and visitors are expected to perform their duties and responsibilities in a safe and healthful manner, and are accountable for the Health and Safety of themselves and others.
• SRK Infra is committed to providing all necessary training and instruction to ensure that appropriate work practices are followed on the job, and to promote their use off the job.
• If necessary SRK Infra will take disciplinary action where individuals fail to work in a healthy and safe manner, or do not comply with applicable legislation or corporate policies and procedures. Health, safety, the environment and loss control in the workplace are everyone’s responsibility.

SRK Infra is an infrastructure major with interests in Concrete Roads, Highways, Bridges, Buildings and Urban Infrastructure sectors. With the help of experienced & qualified engineers, we are striving to deliver the best quality of roads to ensure that our roads are long lasting, durable & maintenance free.

Every employee in our firm has responsibilities of Quality at each stage of construction. Inspection and testing of construction material are carried out at all stages of construction to ensure that constructed work shall meet defined acceptance criteria. Quality control is a totally integrated concept with every department or Area which includes Planning, Designing, Purchasing, Inspection, certification and construction

Generally we follow the steps as below:

1. Quotation: – We call the Quotations for the required construction material and Service
2. Visual inspection of material at supplier’s Quarry/Site/Factory/Go-down: – After the finalization of supplier, we visit his Quarry/site to check whether he is able to supply the required material with assured Quality and Quantity.
3. Testing of samples submitted by supplier at our Lab: – We collect the samples of material from his Quarry/Site and test this in our lab.
4. Approval of material from Quality control team: – Once the approval is obtained from our Quality Control Team, we order the required material.
5. Storage: – Store supervisor shall ensure that materials which have been received shall be properly stored in a defined area. All the materials shall be visually inspected before stacking in a particular lot.
6. Quality Control: – Tests on the different materials are then carried out in our well equipped Quality Control Lab at various stages of construction. We follow the MORTH specification for the testing and frequency of different construction materials.
